Central Cinema is pleased to be hosting our first-ever comedy festival as Yellow Door Media and Tiny Stage Comedy present the inaugural HOOT IN THE HOLLER, going down the evening of Friday July 17 & all day Saturday July 18!

The Hoot will offer an extensive survey of Knoxville’s vibrant DIY comedy movement (offering a range of live events across dozens of alternative venues throughout the metro area) plus a headlining visit from Atlanta musical comedy duo Good Cop Rad Cop. Saturday’s programming will also include installments of game-style shows like Ivan Harper’s Comedy Codebreak (formerly Deception), Keith Marcell’s Comedy Debate League and Manatee Vanity Improv’s Standup Vs Improv.

The festival’s overall lineup is set to feature appearances by Brandi Augustus, Keith Marcell, Taylor Wingerter, Justin Chavez, Rowan Young, Clinton Ricks, Ivan Harper, Ali Simpson, Savannah Wolfgram, Gail Grantham, Amanda Kruel, JoAnna Brooker, Katelyn Hillen, Caleb West, Saxton Constant, Pablo Manuel Reboredo-Segovia, Jessica Lister, Joel Palilla, Andrew McAffry, Jordan B, Art Martin, Jeff Chapman, Debby Johnson, Casey Shearer, Matt Harris, Maggie West, Ethan Wheeler, Trevor Hutto, Gideon Bainbridge and Payton Williams.
