Home Alone

Directed by
Chris Columbus

We’ve saved our favorite Christmas films for the big holiday weekend, starting with the John Hughes-scripted Christmas classic about two hapless burglars who run afoul of a bloodthirsty and endlessly resourceful 8-year-old.

“Chris Columbus’s junky, rambunctiously funny Home Alone is every kid’s anarchical wish come true.” – Washington Post

**FRIDAY NIGHT 9/21: Catch a special DOUBLE FEATURE ($15) of Home Alone (8pm) and Dial Code Santa Claus (10pm).

**SATURDAY NIGHT 12/22: Strap in for an extra special holiday TRIPLE FEATURE of Home Alone (6pm), Die Hard (8pm) and Dial Code Santa Claus (10:30pm).

When bratty 8-year-old Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) acts out the night before a family trip to Paris, his mother (Catherine O’Hara) makes him sleep in the attic. After the McCallisters mistakenly leave for the airport without Kevin, he awakens to an empty house and assumes his wish to have no family has come true. But his excitement sours when he realizes that two con men (Joe Pesci, Daniel Stern) plan to rob the McCallister residence, and that he alone must protect the family home.
