This month’s installment of Asian Underground turns its eye to notoriously prolific cross-genre madman Takashi Miike with this bromantic second entry in his DEAD OR ALIVE “trilogy” of mostly-unrelated Yakuza films.

Two contract killers cross paths in the middle of the same job and realise they are childhood friends. After reflecting on their lives, they decided to team up and use their talents for good, much to the displeasure of the crime syndicates.
