Join us for another season of our long-running Movies Under The Stars series, screening an eclectic mix of crowd-pleasers on the lawn at Ijams Nature Center! Our second-to-last event of the season  flashes back to the birth of a blockbuster franchise as Jennifer Lawrence endures THE HUNGER GAMES!

In what was once North America, the Capitol of Panem maintains its hold on its 12 districts by forcing them each to select a boy and a girl, called Tributes, to compete in a nationally televised event called the Hunger Games. Every citizen must watch as the youths fight to the death until only one remains. District 12 Tribute Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has little to rely on, other than her hunting skills and sharp instincts, in an arena where she must weigh survival against love.

Series Information: Movies Under the Stars 2024 is sponsored by Modelo, Cruze Farm, Nirvana Comics, CreepyCon, B97.5, JackFM and WIMZ. Admission begins at 7pm; movies start at sundown. Ijams will be selling beer and soft drinks, and food trucks will be on site for your snacking pleasure. No coolers or outside alcohol is permitted. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash. Lawn chairs and/or blankets are recommended. Tickets are available via the link below for $12 (parking included), with discounts available for Ijams Nature Center and Central Cinema members.
