One Year Dino-Versary Weekend

Jurassic Park

Directed by
Steven Spielberg

We looked at a lot of different films to anchor our one year anniversary, but quickly realized there was only one real answer. Steven Spielberg’s popcorn masterpiece was a cinematic gateway drug for an entire generation, pushing the limits of tension and technology while telling Michael Crichton’s story with style and grace. This is one of our favorite movies, and we hope you’ll come watch it with us.

If Jurassic Park weren’t enough by itself, we’ll also be offering multiple opportunities to double feature the film with Don Bluth’s Spielberg-produced family classic The Land Before Time as part of our One Yearear Dino-versary celebration!

Paleontologists Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) and mathematician Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) are among a select group chosen to tour an island theme park populated by dinosaurs created from prehistoric DNA. While the park’s mastermind, billionaire John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), assures everyone that the facility is safe, they find out otherwise when various ferocious predators break free and go on the hunt.
