Groundhog Day

Directed by
Harold Ramis

Arrogant TV weatherman Phil Connors (Bill Murray), producer Rita (Andie MacDowell) and cameraman Larry (Chris Elliott) travel to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to cover the annual Groundhog Day festivities, and are forced to stay the night when an unexpected blizzard hits. When Phil wakes up the next morning he finds it’s February 2nd all over again, and he’s forced to live the same day over and over again until he gains some insight into his life.

We don’t know where you’re going, but can you call in sick? Come celebrate the silliest holiday with one of the funniest (and unexpectedly influential) PG-rated comedies of all time. That’s right woodchuck-chuckers, it’s Groundhog Day!

“This gentle, small-scale effort is easily the most endearing film of [Ramis and Murray’s] careers.. a sweet and amusing surprise package.” – Los Angeles Times
