Knoxville Horror Film Fest X Festival Passes On Sale Now!

Hey KHFF fans! We’ve been a little quiet so far this year because we’ve been busy launching Central Cinema (the site you now find yourself on) but we’re excited to finally share expanded details on what we’ve got planned for our TENTH ANNUAL FESTIVAL October 18-21.

We’ve managed to grow bit by bit over the years, but for 2018 we’re making our biggest leaps ever. We’ve expanded to an extra night on Thursday. We’re bringing our friends from the Shock Waves podcast to town for live events. And in addition to an overload of rad shorts, we’ve booked more exciting feature presentations that ever before; those already announced include Anna and the Apocalypse, The Ranger, Luz, All The Creatures Were Stirring, The Field Guide to Evil, House of Sweat and Tears, Blood Lake, 4K restorations of Maniac and Zombie, and Scary Stories, a documentary about the unshakable “Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark” book series.

Despite having our own theater, Friday night and all day Saturday will be spent once again with our friends at Regal Downtown West 8, where we can guarantee plenty of room for the festival’s biggest films and the eighth annual Grindhouse Grind-out filmmaking contest. (Single and two-day passes to our Downtown West programming will be available starting October 1, along with single-screening advance tickets to the Grind-out.)

But here’s where today’s ticketing announcement comes in: the rest of this year’s programming (more than half of it, in fact) will be held in Central Cinema’s single auditorium, which seats just 100 people. So if you’re interested in the full KHFFX experience — including regional premieres, surprise screenings and a live Shock Waves podcast — the only surefire way to see it all is our KHFFX Festival Pass or its deluxe R.I.P. variant, both on sale below via PayPal .

KHFFX Festival Pass ($100)
Our KHFFX Festival Pass secures your admission to all official KHFFX screenings and festivities, Thursday 10/18 through Sunday 10/21 at Central Cinema and Regal Cinemas Downtown West 8.
60 available; $10 discount for Central Cinema members.

KHFFX R.I.P. Pass ($200)
Make the most of your October by becoming a KHFF “Really Important Person”! In addition to a KHFFX shirt, poster and Festival Pass, our RIPs are invited to attend KHFF-tagged horror movie screenings free of charge all month long at Central Cinema; planned bookings include The Thing, Re-Animator, Basket Case, Pet Sematary at Ijams Nature Center, and as many Universal monsters as we can dig up. (And we haven’t even decided what we’re doing for Halloween yet!)

UPDATE: Festival and R.I.P Passes are no longer available through the CC site. Festival Passes will be available through midnight 10/15 at FilmFreeway.com, where you can also get our Centerpiece Pass, separate Friday and Saturday passes, and advance tickets to the Grindhouse Grind-out.

Please note: Festival Pass passholders will be put on a will-call list to check in and collect their badges beginning Wednesday, October 17. RIP passholders just need to check in with us for their first free horror movie in October, during which we will prepare a special RIP card; included poster and tee will be made available during the festival.
